The case is pushed through the die completely, removing the bulge near the base.
Titanium Carbide has the highest hardness of any readily available carbide, and has a slippery non-galling surface that is ideal for resizing of cartridge cases without requiring lubricant.
While not required, we still recommend using an easy-to-apply case lubricant like Smooth Glide (SSB-SGCL). This saves wear and tear on the cartridge cases and your reloading equipment; you'll feel the significant reduction in force required to operate the press!
This set includes a titanium carbide base sizing die and E-Z feed pushrod.
This die can be used to load .40 S&W.
